About
Twenty years in.
Still building.
Why this exists
I've spent over 20 years writing software and breaking it — full-stack development, security engineering, detection engineering, AI/ML security. I've worked with engineers at every level across every kind of team. I know the difference between someone who can talk about machine learning and someone who can ship it.
rmtly.org exists because micro1 has built something genuinely useful — a global network of vetted AI engineers — and good candidates and good companies deserve a direct path to it. I surface that path. That's the whole job.
What you get here
A fast, no-noise route to real remote AI engineering roles. No recruiter calls. No résumé black holes. You click, you land on micro1's platform, you see what's live. If it's right for you or someone you know, you move. If it's not, you move on. No friction either way.
The referral side
If you refer a qualified candidate and they land a paid placement on micro1's platform, I earn a referral payout. That's disclosed clearly because it has to be and because it's fair. It also means I have zero incentive to send you somewhere bad — a bad referral pays nothing.
What I can't do
I don't work for micro1. I can't influence hiring decisions, guarantee placements, or tell you what micro1's clients will pay. All of that lives on their side. What I can do is make sure you're not wasting time getting there.
Other work
If you're not in the market for remote AI engineering talent but thinking about your own next move — internally, laterally, without blowing up your life — I also run lateralmoves.net. Different problem, same principle: cut the noise, get to the useful part faster.
